Selected as top 1% in MPPA graduate program across Canada to conduct exploratory research surrounding the incentives and disincentives of First Nations wishing to pursue self-government and the impacts of the Indian Act. Co-authored final report and presented findings and key recommendations to Jane Philpott, former Minister of Indigenous Services of Canada and Honourable Carolyn Bennett, former Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations.

Co-authored "Accessing Decent Work: Perspectives from Indigenous Support Services in Toronto (2018)" and presented findings to Ontario Nonprofit Network (ONN) Non-Profit Driven Conference at Metro Toronto Convention Centre with over 1000+ people in attendance.
Co-developed by the City of Toronto's Shelter, Support and Housing Administration (SSHA) and Toronto Aboriginal Support Services Council.
Through the Sovereign Bodies Healthy Nations program at imagineNATIVE, I wrote, directed and produced a short documentary entitled "Coming Full Circle" that was screened at the imagineNATIVE film festival in October 2018.
The film showcases the way Indigenous community leaders and activists in Toronto have traditionally and continue to use culture in order to foster healthy and sustainable Indigenous communities, particularly in urban settings. It further sheds light on what it means to co-exist peacefully and resiliently in a territory where multiple interests are at stake, but where people are still able to come together- full circle.
Wikwemikong Victims Services Conference (2018)
Conducted a literature review and jurisdictional scan of community-based Indigenous victim service programs within Canada, the United States, Australia and New Zealand.
Presented findings at Wiikwemkoong's Victim's Conference in June 2018. The research and evaluation helped inform guiding principles and best practices for Wiikwemkoong to establish their own Victims Program.
Assisted in identifying culturally-safe professional counselling support for families and survivors of MMIWGT2S by providing referrals throughout the GTA and Southern Ontario in partnership with the Family Information Liaison Unit (FILU).
